Will's First Day of School

The elementary schools in our area pay for a program called parents as teachers. As part of that they have preschool academy. Its one day a week for one hour and they provide childcare for Ben. So its just Will and mommy for an hour a week until he starts school. Super fun! Here's a glimpse of our first day.

Green pancakes

I asked Will if he wanted white pancakes or wheat pancakes.
He answered green pancakes!
Well... Okay I don't know why not? :)

Will's a tree hugger!

A few months ago I was in a parking lot when Will all of the sudden took off. I caught up to him trying to climb a great big oak tree. Apparently, he saw it and fell to its siren songs and had to climb it. It must be an innate little boy trait! Ever since then whenever he sees a tree he try's to climb it. Thank goodness he's only about 3 ft. tall and most trees don't have enough branches that low to get off the ground!.... I'm sensing broken bones in the future. Hopefully, he inherited my strong bones (I've never broken one, bruised a tailbone once. That wasn't pretty, but a totally different story).
