1 Month

It has been forever since I posted. I'm sorry. I have not figured out how to still accomplish things while having Will but, here's what we've been up to... but shhh.... apparently Will thinks it's a secret.
We blessed Will on March 8 so that both sets of Grandparents could be there. It was awesome! I was so glad that we were able to have so much family together since we're living out here in Austin by ourselves. I must admit though that when the bishop announced that the Rich's would be blessing their son William I thought blessing a baby? That's what old people do... we're not old. :)

We've had a blast will all of our Grandparents! My mom was able to fly out for a week and a half before the blessing then my dad and Danny's parents flew out the weekend of the blessing. Then, Danny's parent stayed the week after. It was great it enabled me and Will to get out of the house a lot and I think I even forgot how to do dishes since I haven't had to do a single one for two weeks.

So here's the update on Will. He is still growing! I have to take back two packages of size 1 diapers and exchange them for size 2 already! I also had to put away his newborn sleepers because once we zip them Will can't straighten out his legs :(
Will also has colic. I'm not sure why he gets so much gas built up, but as Danny's mom put it he would be a hit at a 10 yr. old birthday party. This kid can toot for like 30 sec straight!

Anyway, the laundry I washed on Wed. still needs to be folded so I should get working on that but I'll leave you with a family pic. Danny's dad was gracious enough to take some family pictures while he was here. I think he just became our official family photographer!

  1. You guys look great! He is a very handsome boy! Sorry to hear about the colic, Perry has reflux and I know how hard it can be when your baby is uncomfortable. Good luck!

  3. He is such a good looking baby - big, healthy boys are such a joy!

Colic, ugh, been there. Seriously try gripe water - you can get it at Walgreens. It changed out life for the better once my OB suggested it for Aniston. Hope his tummy starts to feel better.

You guys look great for "old" people.

  4. I've been checking for updates and was so happy to see your pictures! What a good-looking family. So great to have family in for the blessing. I know Lisa was really excited to be there with you. Will is darling and even though it doesn't seem like it now, the colic will pass (no pun intended!) Oh, and you're really lucky to have Gary for a family photographer. Love you guys!
